Terms of Service

These terms govern use of NightList by guests, venues, promoters, door teams, administrators, and other users.

Last updated: June 1, 2026

Agreement

By accessing or using NightList, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use NightList on behalf of a venue, promoter, business, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

NightList Services

NightList provides software for guestlists, event applications, QR passes, door access, check-ins, promoter workflows, venue operations, team roles, notifications, and related event management tools. NightList is a technology provider and does not itself operate every event, venue, guestlist, admission decision, or door policy shown through the service.

License to Use NightList

Subject to these terms, NightList grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use NightList for your authorized role as a guest, promoter, venue team member, door team member, administrator, or other approved user. NightList is licensed, not sold, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by NightList.

Accounts and Roles

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • Venue, promoter, door, admin, and guest access may show different screens and permissions based on your assigned user type or membership.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, except where caused by NightList.
  • NightList may require phone or Google account verification for certain guestlist and account features.

Guestlists and Event Entry

Guestlist approval, QR passes, and event applications do not guarantee admission. Venues and event operators may require identification, age verification, dress code compliance, capacity availability, payment, safety screening, or other rules. NightList may display event rules, but venue and promoter teams are responsible for enforcing their own lawful policies.

Platform Access Passes

Venues, promoters, and teams using NightList authorize NightList and its approved platform representatives to use platform access passes for operational review, product testing, support, partner relations, and platform oversight. A platform access pass may create or update a standard approved guestlist entry for the active event when scanned at the door, and door teams may see it as a normal valid guest pass. NightList may retain internal audit records identifying the entry as platform access.

Platform access passes do not override lawful age, identification, safety, security, capacity, or venue discretion requirements.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse QR codes, guest passes, verification codes, venue access, or staff permissions.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, or interference with NightList systems.
  • Do not copy, mirror, frame, extract, reproduce, modify, resell, sublicense, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from NightList or any part of the service.
  • Do not use NightList, its screens, workflows, API behavior, designs, templates, or data to build, train, benchmark, or improve a competing product without written permission.
  • Do not submit false guestlist information, impersonate others, or create misleading events.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or harmful content.
  • Do not use NightList in a way that violates event rules, venue policies, or applicable law.

Content and Intellectual Property

NightList and its software, source code, object code, designs, interfaces, visual assets, logos, wordmarks, text, templates, workflows, documentation, product flows, databases, compilations, and platform materials are owned by NightList or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Users keep ownership of content they own, subject to the license needed for NightList to provide the service. Copyright and user content rules are explained in the Copyright Policy.

Privacy

NightList's collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Termination

NightList may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates security or safety risk, infringes rights, misuses event access, or threatens the reliability of NightList. Users may request account deletion through the Account Deletion page.

Service Availability

We work to keep NightList reliable, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, network issues, third-party providers, device limitations, or events outside our control. NightList is provided on an as-available basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NightList disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as NightList evolves. The updated date will show when changes were made. Continued use of NightList after changes means you accept the updated terms.
